How To infuse maple syrup:
1. Heat the amount of syrup you want to infuse in a pan on the stove over medium heat. (Don’t boil it or it could turn into maple sugar.)
2. Add the flavor/spice.
3. Turn off the heat and let the syrup steep.
4. After 15 minutes, stir and taste. If you like the flavor intensity, remove the flavoring.
5. If the flavor isn’t as intense as you’d like, let it steep longer (a few more minutes, hours or even overnight at room temperature) for stronger flavoring.
